RESERVATION PROCEDURE:

• Reservations can be made via telephone (021 553 8000) or via email (cars@rcjm.co.za)
• Please note that we are not liable for any disputes arising from telephonic reservations. 
• After having received your reservation request we will book your vehicle with the car rental company. 
• Once your reservation has been confirmed we will send you a confirmation voucher with the car rental details. 
• Please note that although we can request a specific vehicle model in a given category we can at no time guarantee the availability of such a model.

PAYMENTS: 
Upon collection of the vehicle, your credit /debit card will be charged with the rental amount, a rental deposit of up to a R1500 and an additional authorisation amount for the applicable excess as per your voucher. This hold will be released within 4 working days once the car has been returned, providing there is no accident damage or theft. Any expenses for extras e.g. additional driver charge, will also be billed.

VEHICLE PICK-UP AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE:

• The driver must also be the credit /debit card holder. 
• Non card holders can only be added as additional drivers. 
• At the pick-up location, the driver has to present the confirmation voucher together with his drivers license, ID or passport and credit /debit card. NB: The driver may be requested to present a second credit card, especially for the larger or more luxurious vehicles.
• Any additional drivers must also present their drivers licenses and ID’s or passport documents.
